There is also a hard decision that highlights the enormity of his struggle in this book that is put off as a possibility for later which is nicely handled. Yes, I can see sci-fic lovers being more open to the possibilities of strange things in the world. So nice that the outcome of sharing the secret is a somewhat positive one compared to the previous story. This is somewhat of a quest story, which is fun too. The friendship between the two girls is beautiful and their compassion grows to include both girls' boyfriends in the circle. This one splits it's time between following up with Rachel and Rider's story and the happy yet sad outcome of the accident and Paige and her boyfriend. Number 2 in the series picks up pretty much where book 1 left off. Not sure if my review would be considered to have spoilers or not.
